View of Edinburgh from Edinburgh Castle Jason and I decided to spend our currently child-free life in Scotland for the last week in 2009 and New Years Eve (Hogmanay per the Scots). Everyone has told us to take advantage of no kids and travel as much as we can now so we "flew over the pond" to stay with family in Edinburgh, Scotland. We had a blast. It snowed everyday we were there which is odd for Scotland but that didn't deter us from seeing the sights. We also attended a huge party with traditional scottish country dancing mixed in with current music hits.
